Unknown preacher

Approaching the new year can intensify sadness and disappointment over apparent failures or insufficient spiritual progress. Wise Stewardship and the Example of Saint Stephen

Unknown preacher

Using the parable of the entrusted money and the witness of Saint Stephen, the preacher teaches that life, time, abilities, possessions, and opportunities are gifts held in trust from God. Christians are called to use those gifts boldly for others, serve the Church and their neighbors, and live according to God’s will rather than fearfully keeping what they have for themselves.
